It is all about freedom

IT IS ALL ABOUT FREEDOM

icchāśaktirūpatā svātantryasvabhāvā

The being of freedom [expresses itself first] in the form of the energy of will.

The Tantrasāra, a summary of the Tāntraloka

The source of all is freedom. You are freedom expressed! And the very first expression of freedom is pure will.

Pure will is the subtlest energetic resonance of the universe. It is the unexpressed potentiality of freedom within freedom. Therefore, pure will is the gateway to freedom.

To access pure will, we must first surrender the surface waves of our own impure egoic personal will. Surrender blossoms into finding and establishing ourselves in such stillness where our thoughts, emotions, and senses are quiet.

Then, in perfect stillness, we surrender the life force of our own personal egoic will, i.e., the hidden underlying impulse of desire for completion and fulfillment in something else. It is this impulse that creates the seeds/impressions of desire for an object or a subject (a person and even God). Then those seeds/impressions are manifested through thoughts, emotions, and senses.

We must surrender the primal impulse, otherwise it will continue to generate and blossom seeds of differentiation, creating an endless restlessness in our being.  By offering the deepest energy of our own impure egoic will back into its source, we rediscover, merge into, and repose first in pure will, and then in absolute freedom.

How do we do this?

  • Intention.

  • Practicing surrender and stillness.

  • Every day.

  • With every breath.

The essential process is going underneath the arisings of all phenomena and then into the deepest energy of our own personal will, which we then offer into the universal pure will. Over and over again we polish our impure will until we access and abide in pure unexpressed potentiality. This is the doorway into absolute freedom, our birth right.

What a wonderful journey of seeking, finding, and reposing in our deepest essence as absolute freedom. What a marvelous journey from restlessness of being into reposing in freedom.
